Healthcare Administration Certificate (Online)

Overview

The Certificate in Healthcare Administration is a post-associate degree program, and requires an approved associate degree in a healthcare-related field and a 2.0 GPA. Courses in the certificate program establish the legal, financial, managerial, and industry foundation needed to begin a leadership role in healthcare. Personally and financially rewarding jobs are available in management and administration, and these positions are expected to grow.

Students are required to take courses in the sequence in which they are offered. Students are awarded the certificate after meeting the criteria below: 

  • Successful completion of the certificate program as prescribed by the college
  • A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher
  • A minimum grade of C (2.0) in all healthcare administration courses
  • Completion of all Healthcare Administration Certificate program requirements within one year of enrollment at the college
