HIT 2301 CPT: Medical
This course introduces the medical portion of coding using the Current Procedural Terminology. All principles for accurate coding of medical records according to this classification system is studied and practiced. The use of technologies to assist in coding are incorporated to the manual coding process. Healthcare reimbursement history and current practices are reviewed. Reimbursement issues affecting CPT coding are practiced. LAB.
