Course Load
The normal course load for full-time students is twelve or more credits per fifteen-week semester, and six to ten credits per seven-week semester. Permission from the Program Chair is required if a student wishes to carry more than sixteen credits in a fifteen-week semester or two seven-week semesters, or more than nine credits in a seven-week semester. Normally, this request is granted only to students demonstrating a high level of academic performance. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisor if enrolling in more than seven credits in a seven-week semester in order to better understand their schedule's impact on work, life, and school balance.
