PAD 1000 Introduction to Patient Advocacy

The purpose of this course is to provide students with knowledge about promoting and protecting patient rights and services; improving communication between healthcare professionals and their patients; and assisting patients with numerous healthcare concerns, including new treatments and diagnoses, insurance and billing problems, placement issues, and community resources.
