DSN 1010 Developmental Skills for Nursing
Students who do not successfully pass NUR 1015 will be required to take this 14-week developmental course in a wrap-around format to review areas of concern to improve success when retaking NUR 1015. This course will begin 7 weeks prior to the semester the students repeat NUR 1015, and will continue in the first 7 weeks while repeating NUR 1015. The course focuses on test taking, critical thinking, time management, and applied mathematical skills. Students develop and apply these skills in answering Nursing examination questions and in developing a plan of action for resuming Nursing studies successfully. This course is offered either fully online or in a hybrid format.
