HIT 2440 Professional Practice Experience
This Professional Practice Experience focuses on the application of the coding skills learned in this program. All students must complete the group units of this course: Professional Portfolio, the Diversity in Employment Opportunities Unit, and the Orientation Unit. The virtual PPE students report to their professor as if the professor were the coding supervisor. They code the medial records listed in each Coding Unit according to the posted schedule.
