ETH 1011 Law and Ethics in Healthcare
Law and Ethics in Healthcare provides a critical academic exploration of legal and ethical questions in the healthcare industry. This course embraces diversity and cross-cultural competency as it tries to envision a just society committed to the common good. Special attention will be paid to the question of how advances in biotechnology and medicine benefit the most vulnerable members of society and how federal, state, and local legal systems can or should reinforce questions of medical ethics.
